Board the cabin, keep the COMFORT meter happy, and handle the quirks of the NPC follow system.

Boarding before takeoff

Passengers wait in the airport lounge next to the door that leads to the plane. Walk to them to start boarding — the TASKS panel counts the cabin toward its passenger line, and takeoff stays locked until every seated row is filled and the rest of the ground checklist is done.

The Fast Boarding game pass (299 Robux, per the store listing) lets one player guide up to three passengers at once, which is its entire value: it compresses the walk-back-and-forth phase of boarding. It changes speed, not mechanics.

How the NPC follow system works

Boarded passengers follow the path you walk, not your current position — that detail, pointed out in popular tutorial footage, explains most boarding confusion. If you jump or walk backward, the NPC keeps tracing your older trail and can look stuck.

So: keep walking forward smoothly toward the plane, and ignore a passenger that stalls mid-route. Waiting at the aircraft a few seconds is usually all it takes for them to re-trace the path and arrive on their own.

Comfort in the air

In flight, each passenger has comfort needs that show up as requests and as a cabin COMFORT meter with a temperature gauge. Food and drink from the fridge answer most requests; blankets cover cold snaps; Medicine goes to the passengers who specifically ask for it.

Letting comfort slide has a cost: unhappy passengers make the end-of-flight result worse, and comfort collapsed by a cold event recovers much slower than comfort maintained throughout.

Announcements and the PA system

The cockpit's PA system has an [E] Make Announcement prompt — observed in event footage — and cabin announcements are part of the crew rhythm during incidents. When an event fires, the announcement settles the cabin while the crew works.

It costs nothing but a keypress, and the cabin that hears its crew talk reacts less chaotically than the one left guessing.

Common passenger problems

Three problems cover most passenger complaints. A stuck NPC: wait, keep your own path clean, don't jump. A cold cabin: blankets first, scraper on wings second, because the two fixes are for different halves of the same event. A sick passenger: Medicine, immediately, before comfort for the whole row starts sliding.

If boarding will not complete, check that every passenger actually reached a seat — a passenger trailing behind in the terminal is the usual culprit, and walking the route again cleanly fixes it.

Crew split for passenger care

In a crew, one person owns the cabin: hand out food, run blankets, fetch order-terminal deliveries. In solo play, passenger care happens between flying beats — which is fine at cruise altitude and impossible during an engine failure. Prioritize accordingly.

FAQ

Bumpy Flight Passengers: Boarding, Comfort and Stuck NPCs FAQ

Why is my passenger stuck in Bumpy Flight?

NPC passengers follow the trail you walked, not your current position. If you jumped or walked backward, they trace the old path and stall. Keep walking forward smoothly and wait — they re-route on their own.

How do I keep passengers happy?

Answer requests fast from the fridge, hand blankets out during cold events, give Medicine to sick passengers, and use the cockpit [E] announcement during incidents. Comfort recovered late is much slower than comfort maintained.

What does Fast Boarding do?

The 299 Robux game pass lets you guide up to three passengers at once during boarding. It speeds up boarding only — it does not change comfort or in-flight mechanics.
