Bumpy Flight Aircraft: Unlocks, Skins and What's Verified

What's confirmed about the hangar — and an honest list of what still needs in-game verification.

What is confirmed about aircraft

The official description confirms the promise: "Unlock and fly different aircraft" and "Collect new skins & cosmetics." Aircraft therefore sit at the end of the progression loop — complete flights, level up, spend, unlock.

Beyond that, specific hangar rows are still being verified. Rather than invent a table of planes, this page tracks what is confirmed and what is pending — and updates the moment footage confirms a name, a price, or a requirement.

The unlock path

Every completed flight pays XP and coins; levels are the gate most community guides point to for new airframes, with coins as the purchase currency. Both pay double with the 2x XP (199 Robux) and 2x Coins (239 Robux) game passes from the store listing.

The practical loop: fly complete routes, keep passengers healthy for the best end-of-flight payout, and buy in the hangar when a new row opens. Failures pay nothing, which makes clean landings the fastest unlock path by default.

Skins and cosmetics

Cosmetics are a separate track from airframes — the official description lists them as their own collection line. Community footage so far shows liveries and paint sets attached to aircraft rather than standalone items, and none carry stat effects in anything observed so far.

Treat every cosmetic as a purchase you make because it looks good, not because it flies better. If a livery ever ships with a stat note, this page will record it with a source.

What still needs verification

These are the hangar questions this page cannot answer honestly yet: the full aircraft list and their names, the level or coin requirement per aircraft, and whether different aircraft change the TASKS counters (the 0/4 vs 0/6 bag counts suggest they might). The game is in beta and the developers ship updates weekly.

When any of these get confirmed from gameplay footage or an official update, the answer moves from this section into the tables above with its source attached.

How to check unlocks yourself

The hangar view lists every airframe you can see in-game, greyed out while locked — the lock row itself usually names its requirement. If a number there differs from anything on this page, trust the game and tell us: our evidence policy prefers your screenshot over our guess.

Screenshot the hangar and the level gate you see. That is the exact evidence format that moves a pending row to confirmed on this site.

Why we hold back

Half the competing wikis fill this page with invented tier tables that break every update. We would rather publish less and be right — the same policy that keeps our emergency table sourced to footage keeps this page free of guesses. "Not yet observed" beats fiction.

FAQ

Bumpy Flight Aircraft: Unlocks, Skins and What's Verified FAQ

How do you unlock aircraft in Bumpy Flight?

Complete flights to earn XP and coins, level up, and buy from the hangar. Levels gate new airframes and coins are the purchase currency; the 2x XP and 2x Coins game passes double both incomes.

Do skins change how a plane flies?

Nothing observed so far says so — cosmetics are a separate collection line in the official description and carry no stat effects in any footage reviewed. Treat them as visual unlocks.

Is there a full aircraft list?

Not honestly yet. The hangar list, per-aircraft requirements, and stat differences are still being verified against in-game footage. This page updates the moment a name or requirement is confirmed.
